The construction of Samrudhhi Mahamarg is going on in 16 sections. The section is named as âConstruction Packageâ. To maintain the good speed of work and proper work management, a total of 16 construction packages are made, each having around 40 to 45 Kms. boundaries of Districts, Talukas, Villages coming within 700 Kms. Samrudhhi Mahamarg alignment, as well as many other factors, are considered while making the construction packages. Hence, the brief of how this construction work will take place and what are the updates of work given in those 16 packages will be conveyed through this series of blogs.
Details of Construction Package 7
Package 7 is from chainage Km. 296.000 to chainage Km. 347.190. This section is from Village Banda to Village Sawargaon Mal in District Buldhana and has a length of 51.190 Km. Construction work of this package is awarded to M/s. Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. Along with road work, there are major structures to be constructed.
These are as follows:-
âĻ02 Interchanges and 05 Service Roads of a total length of 3843 meters, 09 Flyovers/Viaducts of the total length of 4140 meters, 01 Major Bridge of the total length of 245.52 meters, 17 Minor Bridges
Details of Construction Package 8
Package 8 is from chainage Km. 347.190 to chainage Km. 390.445. This section is from Village Nhava to Village Georai in District Jalna and has a length of 42.720 Km. Construction work of this package is awarded to M/s. Montecarlo Ltd. Iron Tingle Ltd. Along with road work, there are major structures to be constructed.
These are as follows:- âĻ01 Interchange and 25 Service Roads of a total length of 11136 meters, 02 Flyovers/Viaducts of the total length of 360 meters, 02 Major Bridges of the total length of 175 meters, 18 Minor Bridges and 02 Canal Bridges of a total length of 50 meters.
Details of Construction Package 9
Package 9 is from chainage Km. 390.445 to chainage Km. 444.485. This section is from Village Bendewadi to Village Fatiwabad in District Aurangabad and has a length of 54.400 Km. Construction work of this package is awarded to M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd. Along with road work, there are major structures to be constructed.
These are as follows:- âĻ01 Interchange and 35 Service Roads of a total length of 18334 meters, 03 Flyovers/Viaducts of the total length of 865 meters, 01 Major Bridge of the total length of 85 meters, 40 Minor Bridges
Along with the above big structures, there are many small and medium structures that will be constructed in the highway work. The above-mentioned contractors have started the construction of the highway in their awarded packages. âĻ
