Samruddhi Mahamarg Project: A Journey To Prosperity Begins

Every venture goes through some hurdles and oppositions for it to achieve the set objectives as it progresses. Once these problems are successfully resolved, the process gets streamlined and speedy. This is a brief review of the head start to the construction of Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg.

Connecting 2 major cities viz. Nagpur and Mumbai of Maharashtra for the expansion and progress of Business via a quick and comfortable commuting mode has always been the most crucial need of the infrastructure of the state.

With a synchronised and solid cooperation from MSRDC, Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra (FDCM), the progress of Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg has entered its next phase wherein

-MSRDC has started levelling lands and initiated the construction of expressway embankment similar to that of railways.

-FDCM is monitoring the process of cutting, plantation and counting of trees & compensation thereon.

Two packages amounting to a total of Rs. 4000 Crore have been allotted for covering a total distance of 90 km (31 km in Nagpur District & 59 km in Wardha District) with 5 Entry and Exit points in these 2 districts and in addition, 1 Camp Office in Nagpur District and 2 Camp Offices in Wardha District are being constructed.

The work that has begun on Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg has thus acquired the necessary speed and shall soon realize into a Corridor of Prosperity.
