Locations for construction of Interchanges on Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg have been finalised. The interchanges in Nagpur and Wardha District are to be constructed near Shivmadaka, Datala, Wadgaon Bakshi – Seldo, Keli, and Virul. Here is a summary.
For streamlining the traffic and countering any kind of congestion on the proposed Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, the locations for the Interchanges to be built have been finalised. Initially, MSRDC had announced the number of Interchanges to be built in each district. Accordingly, 5 Interchanges were proposed for Nagpur and Wardha districts. As a further step, specific locations have been chosen and finalised for Interchanges in Nagpur and Wardha districts. Details are as below:
- District: Nagpur-Wardha, Taluka: Hingna, Village: Shivmadaka
- District: Nagpur-Wardha, Taluka: Hingna, Village: Datala
- District: Nagpur-Wardha, Taluka: Hingna, Village: Wadgaon Bakshi – Seldo
- District: Nagpur-Wardha, Taluka: Wardha, Village: Keli
- District: Nagpur-Wardha, Taluka: Arvi, Village: Virul
In this manner, the Interchanges will be built in Nagpur and Wardha Districts at Shivmadaka, Datala, Wadgaon Bakshi – Seldo, Keli, and Virul, thereby benefitting the proximal villages as well.
